1.No objectionable content
Please do not post a contest that contains obscene, pornographic, illegal or offensive in any way. Please do not run a contest if your company is based on a service or product that may be considered obscene, pornographic, illegal or offensive.
2.One completed design per contest
You can get only one completed design per contest. Initially the Contest Holder can select three best designs and out of the three Contest Holder can select the winner.If you need more modifications for the completed design,you can hire the winning Designer to do it after the contest is over (you get their contact details with the completed logo). If you need a logo designed for more than one company, or need more than one logo for the same company you will have to run more than one contest.
3.If you don't pay for it you can't use it
You can use only the design which you have selected as the winner and after you have paid the prize in full the Designer will deliver the complete logo.All the other designs that you do not selected remains the sole property of the submitting Designer.
4.Provide feedback for everyone
Majority of the Designers except one that submit entries to your contest will not receive anything more for their work than the comments that you leave for them for their designs.Let each and every Designer know what you think about their design and rate each one.
5.Be polite
Every Designer puts their effort,hardwork in making their design look the best,even if you think that a submitted entry is the worst design you have ever seen there is still a good chance that someone took quite a bit of time on it so kindly be polite to tell them why you don't like it.Never be rude.
6.Every contest should have a winner
Even though none of the designs have met your expectation, we strongly recommend that you have to pick a winner for your contest.since the prize amount is reasonable compared to the amount of work that is done per contest.Therefore by selecting a winner and paying the prize for your contest you are showing your appreciation for all of the hard work that has been done for you.
7.Consider prepaying your contest prize
Pre-paid contest are the ones where the Contest Holder pays the prize money before-hand. The whole idea of prepaid contest is to increase the number and quality of the designs submitted to the contest and to make sure, Designer gets the reward for their days work.
8.Do a thorough research
Need4Design is the middleman in your logo contest, and we make no claims whatsoever as to the originality of any of the designs that are submitted. You should do a good amount of research and consult with a trademark attorney before using any design in trade or business. This applies to any design firm and not just the Designers here at Need4design.
9.Be as detailed as possible
Provide as much as information you can so as to get the best of what you want.While filling the Contest Form be sure to provide clear picture of what you are looking for.When providing feedback to the Designers be as specific as possible about what you like and don't like.
